Sunrise… the dawn of a beautiful day in the desert. A moment of calm before the start of a long hike in the rugged landscape of Wadi Rum.
I’m really not a morning person and love my lay-ins but when there is a landscape as amazing as this outside your door, getting up early and watching the sunrise is not really a chore. There’s something magical when no-one else is stirring and it’s just you in nature… and a dawn chorus of the camp dogs, their barks echoing through the canyons.
Moments like these are few and far between, I invite you to pause and a take a couple of breaths to appreciate this amazing view. Have a wonderful day!
