Maintaining kit is time well spent, as is having the right kit for the circumstance. As the saying goes: “There’s no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing.” (Alfred Wainwright), although no outwear will ever keep you 100% dry and eventually your boots wear out and need repairing.
While I’m talking about a tangible concept here, the idea of kit maintenance can be used as an analogy for staying in touch with your coping mechanisms and ways of keeping your physical and mental wellbeing healthy.
A short one today, posing a question… Are your tried and tested methods of dealing with things still working, and do you have the right tools for the present time rather than relying on something that might have worked in the past?
It’s never too late to make changes, or seek help to find ways of making your life happier and more fulfilled 🤗
