Daily thoughts… Day 22 of 366

Hope you’ve had a good start to the week? I’ve hit the ground running with a day of meetings and helping out on an interview panel, somehow managing to achieve my step goal in the process. As you may have read in a previous post I’m doing a little fitness challenge with my niece, trying to fit in 70,000 steps and a yoga class per week plus a 30 sec plank per day.

Last week I managed to exceed my step total by 12% and a work colleague did a plank with me one day at work and we managed a minute! However with so much going on I didn’t manage the yoga 😔 We had an excellent lady from work who started online yoga class on a Friday lunchtime during lockdown. She’s taken some time off for maternity leave and I’m missing her and the class a lot, fingers crossed she starts again when she is ready.

Even though I didn’t quite make my targets last week, I decided to celebrate all the things I did achieve and allowed myself a treat after dinner: apple and blackberry crumble, with raspberries and custard. It was yum.

Have a good week, and remember to be kind to yourself 🥰
